How would David Price do against Sam Sexton who just won the British title against Cornish? Would Sexton get revenge for the previous TKO loss? Price has never been the same fighter since he was bodied twice by TT, and subsequent losses to Teper and Hammer have completely shot his confidence to peices. Sexton seems more stable these days and is a good steady fighter who could pull it off. Thoughts? How would Price fare against Gorman, Joyce or Dubois?
I'm always interested in watching Price fight and it's almost guaranteed that there will be some sort of comedy KO
The plumber would never entertain the fight as he's repeatedly said he considers himself above British level. That's why he ruled out boxing Dave Allen. Tbf Plumber Pricey did wipe out at British years ago but the truth is that he has since regressed to below European so it would be a valid fight to make against Sexton. As much as I slate Price I would back him to stop Sexton again, the first one was a brutal stoppage. However the likes of Gorman, Joyce and Dubois would massacre Price at this stage.
Seriously.... I wouldn't rule out a Sexton KO in the mid-late rounds. If he's standing after 5-6 Price will lose this rematch.
Pricey has gone backwards since he last fought Sexton but as soon as he lands the fight is pretty much over imo.
