    whats tua fighting these ham and eggers for , whats the point unless hes stone broke, christ whos even heard of demetrice king , choc mundines been fightin better quality opponents and thats saying something.??????????

    It's pretty well known why, actually.

    The Demetrice King fight fulfilled the end of his Maori TV contract.

    Now he can (ostensibly) move on to bigger and better things abroad in pursuit of his world title dream.

    must have idiots for managers well if they signed him up to a tv contract fighting bums while the boxing world is desperately looking for live opponents to fight the K brothers. talk about wasting your prime years and talent , tua takes the cake.

    Tua is and will always be a threat to anyone while he is in the ring and is swinging, that man would have one of the hardest punches in history imo..

    The difference is that Holyfield has a lot of mouths to feed and bills to pay.

    Tua sorted out his big financial mess already. He's legitimately in it for the hardware, and probably won't delude himself too long if he doesn't get it in the next 1-2 years.
