Tua/Peters would be awesome. A winnable slugfest for Tua but how much has Tua really got left?

Tua was supposed to fight Roman Greenberg in the summer but Roman he re-injured his hand so that fight is off. I'm not sure who they have planned for him now though.

Exactly. If Tua was serious about trying for a belt he would've fought more credible opposition, but he hasn't, and therefore he doesn't deserve.

No. How about if Tua fights Arreola instead to prove he's worthy of a shot at Wlad's belts? It would be a start.................

He's already been worthy to get another title shot. C'mon Vlad, give him a chance. David Tua hungry for the title.

ANYONE can hang with Scam Cheater. ****ing Maskaev had him hurt barely hitting him.

Scam Cheater is ruined. He does NOT have a good chin anymore.

I was hoping Tua, Arreola or Walker would step in Mesi's place against Smith. Too bad it didn't happen.

Tua should fight Ruiz again, that's a fight everybody would love to see.

Tua vs Peter would be great too, but I doubt Peter's camp would agree to that fight, unless it's a mandatory.

He should stay away from Wlad, unless he is ready to retire.

I enjoyed watching Tua in his early years, but the man's time has past. He hasn't faced a quality opponent since he drew with Rahman back in 03'. If he gets a chance at a ranked contender or prospect and manages to win, then I'll pull for him to get a title shot, but as it stands, his most recent accomplishments simply don't warrant it.

While Tua might well get a nice payday against Wlad, he would get destroyed inside the distance.

I have to agree. People are banking on Wlad's chin caving in on him, but the truth is, Klitschko simply has too much height and boxing ability for an aging Tua. Yes, in theory IF Tua were to land some big shots, he might make some trouble for Klitschko, but I don't know if he can even get any clean punches on Wlad at this point. Additionally, while Tua can still bang, I can't help but wonder if he's lost some of his power over the years. He hasn't looked particularly impressive in beating some of the journeyman that he's faced in the last few years.

I've seen Tua fight live a few times in recent years (against Wheeler and Hawkins) and although he was starting to do the things he always needed to do to give himself his best chance at winning, he's too far past it and his chin is NOT what it once was.

Wlad would knock him out, and he would EASILY outbox him before doing so.

    True,

Frankly, I'm not sure why people are even throwing Tua's name around as a possible opponent, when there are quite a few contenders or title holders who are far more qualified. Wlad is 32 years old now, and needs to focus on sealing his legacy by polishing off the best fighters that are out there. As for fighting has beens who used to be good fighters, he doesn't have time for that ****.

Rumour has it that Tua is looking at Tidas Bidenko. He UD with Cisse Salik earlier this year, and went the distance with Valuev. Got TKO'd by Virchis.

Tua seems be like Golota in a sense, he seems to either fail or come up short on the big stage, he couldnt win a close decision to Rahman the second time, got out worked by Lewis, as well as by Bryd. I personally think he should call out Golota, it's very winnable fight for him that could look like the Moorer/Tua fight as bit, Golota seems not to do well against fighters with power, and who overwhelm there opponents, with a great left hook. A fight with Golota could earn him another title shot, if Vitali can get a title shot after sitting on his ass for 3 and half years, then why cant Tua get a shot as well?
