David Tua V Ernie Shavers

Tua early! Shavers has huge power but Tua has an iron jaw so thats the fight its that simple. Shavers likes to bang he knows no other way 2 fight so that would spell his doom in this match. Tua KO2.

 

tua's chin is overrated. as soon as lennox lewis ***** slapped him he stayed wimpering in his cornering like a scared puppy for the rest of the fight

As well as ringside seats to his next fight next week.

 

Very cool. Hopefully they weren't too expensive, as the undercard doesn't look like anything special and the main event should last all of five minutes. :yep

You'll get to see a couple of undefeated prospects at least, and most likely a close-up view of a brutal knockout, so money well spent I guess. :good

 

Believe it or not, I was with Tua tonight. He came to one of our Amateur Shows in Hoboken, New Jersey and besides being the President of the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame and the New Jersey Diamond Gloves, I am also the President of the LBC (which runs all the Amateur boxing in New Jersey).

Also in attendance was Gerry Cooney, Tomasz Adamek and Alexander Povetkin. Tua came over to talk to Cooney while I was talking to him and he shook my hand as well.

 

Tua-Cooney...wow, that would be a powder keg, too.
