I think Ike won fair and square, 116-112. Ike was more active in most of the rounds. Can't see it for Tua.

I haven't seen it all of it. I think I will watch it and post my round by round scores.

    Anyone else up for it?

Tua was not all that. He was getting hit with every jab that Ibeabuchi threw and a lot of the time getting out-fought on the inside. Ibeabuchi should have stayed on the outside more. He would have stopped Tua.

    Point to consider:

Evander Holyfield fought Foreman, Cooper, Bowe x3, Moorer x2, Lewis x2, Tyson x2 and sparred David Tua.

When asked who hit him the hardest he replied "George Foreman. Foreman hit me so hard i thought hed knocked my teeth out".

    Now, end thread.

On second thoughts, lets not end the thread just yet.

    Second point to consider:

Foreman was 40+ when he knocked out the undefeated, undisputed heavyweight champion

Could a 40+ Tua Ko Wladmir Klistcko? afterall Wladmir does have a suspect chin and has been down more times than Moorer had.

Foreman, even at the age of 40+ made grown men run including Holyfield, Morrison, and Briggs.

Tua is approx 40 and recently fought Ustinov (a bum) he hit him with plenty of his trademark left hooks and was unable to stop him. Ustinov, in his very next fight, was stopped by Pulev....via a left hook.

Just something for you to think about

In his prime Joe was very hard to hit. Chuvalo was amazed, at how hard he was to hit. His prime was shorter due to high blood pressure, partial blindness, and because he relied on a combination of speed and power that is always short lived.

Frazier was a great fighter. Tua was good not great. It took the best of the best to beat Frazier: Ali and Foreman. Tua isn't even in that stratosphere.

Tua may have buckled the slow starting frazier early....... but once Joe got smoking...... would be Tua's undoing.

Joe consistently outworks and out fights the sporadic Tua, busting him up for a comprehensive unanimous decision.

Moorer did go on to knock Jirov out. He could still fight some.

I had him beating Ike. Tua wasn't schooled by Byrd either. He lost, but it was something like 6-4 or 7-3 and maybe the best performance of Byrd's career.

Assuming peak v peak it's a no brainer for me.
    Frazier much better fighter overall.
Tua rates second behind Cooney as most over rated HW on here.

I have to vote for Frazier here. Tua, never beat anyone in his career with close to Frazier's accomplishments. Tua, seemed to me a reluctant warrior at times. Like he truly didn't enjoy being in the ring. I see Frazier's work rate and body punching/left hook, giving Tua a big reason to not like being in the ring with him. Joe had that effect on fighters.

Tua, this supposedly monster KO artist.

When i ask people name me a top 10 of his best KOs, nobody can answer me?

Thats because 95% of his resume consists of taxi drivers and toilet cleaners
