Never seen him chew gum before.

Even before his fights with big hitters such as Pascal, Tarver, Johnson, etc.

Could the rumour about Miranda knocking him down in that case be hold some weight?

That's not gum, it's glue. He's trying to glue his jaw back together after Miranda brutally KOed him in sparring. A sparring story reported by a noob on ESB is all the evidence we need.

    Hahahahah. Great thread.

Well, it means that he will win a 115-113 decision and wear black socks and throw jabs etc.

    It means **** all.

chewing gum does not in any way make the jaw stronger. thats friggin hilarious. you can either withstand concussive forces to the head or you cannot not. it is that simple.

Dawson is a fan of this movie apparently, lil' classic from the 80s: "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass"

It might mean Dawson is trying to lose water weight to make weight on Saturday.
It might be a little early for that though. I've heard that fighters who are dehydrating themselves to lose the final pound or ounces, chew gum hours before the weighin to create saliva in their mouth to spit out.

You could argue that the repeated minor concussions of chewing are probably about the same force as the Son of Sven's punches. By chewing, Bad Chad is clowning Warke, showing he can take his best shots and remain standing

He had bad breath and decided to throw a chewing gum into his mouth? That's what chewing gums made for.
