he fought like ****...all he had to do was open up a bit more like he started to do late...he wasnt consistent with anything other than not throwing. I still remember when it caught pascal good and pascal was just there, frozen waiting to be KO'd and dawson looked at him for a bit like he didnt know what to do...much like when malignaggi stunned diaz and didnt quite know what to do. Im still one that believes that dawson would have KO'ed him had the headbutt not occured, but it was dawsons fault that he only left himself a couple of rounds to pull it off.
I'm reading the american point of view and it's funny. No Jean Pascal didn't win the fight. Chad Dawson lost the fight. Chad Dawson is that much of a bad ass. He wins and loses fight ALONE. No one beats Chad Dawson but Chad Dawson. Chauvinist pricks.
i have a question for all the Dawson fans or at least those who might knew him enough. Do he brings his family everywhere he goes for all his fights and such? Because, last time I checked the best athlete in the world (in Olympic) are alone in their world with nobody and their team of coaches, therapist, etc to perform at their best. Maybe Dawson was a little too much confident, or something. By the way I'm not trying to downrate Pascal here, I'm a fan of him, I'm just curious. Thanks!
Dawson just got in the ring with a guy that didnt give a **** who Dawson really was. Pascal just fought a great fight. Dawson fought quite poor. Dawson didn't control distance, or throw enough. Whenever Pascal attacked Dawson couldnt really deal with it.
