Dawson will finally have to face "The Shark" Diaconu

    He called out Woods and Calzaghe in the past. He was willing to fight Joe in GB and at 168 lbs.
    Unfortuneatly he's fixated on Tarver now. Probably, Showtime is keen on this fight, too.

    Diaconu earned his shot so like it or not Dawson is gonna have to fight him. Thats how the world turns, Dawson would make a smart move by fighting as big a name as possible for his voluntary defence so that he can up the purse for the mandatory, where he is guaranteed the lion's share of the purse as per WBC rules.

    Some interesting names for Dawson out of the WBC top15 are Ulrich, Hopkins, Tarver, and Jones.

    Diaconu was the one who pulled out at the 11th hour claiming some bogus injury. And Chad's the one ducking him? :rofl You Canadians are great.. Chad's gonna give this stiff a boxing lesson he'll never forget..

    Hello Decebal, that was a pretty good demonstration of true "American values", don't you think???

    You can rest assure that I enjoyed everyone of the replies....

    I still think that " The Shark" as a more than decent chance against Dawson

    and that he will shut many trash talkers around here!

    Dawson wasn't ducking Dawson and isn't going to either!

    Diaconu has a puncher's chance, particularly since he has such a developed killer instinct...BUT, I wouldn't give him more than 30% chance of beating Dawson - who is a hell of a boxer, with a chin who isn't as bad as that at all!

    It should be a great fight though and Dawson, when he beats Diaconu, will have beaten a dangerous live opponent who WILL test that chin! Very good fight for Dawson at this stage in his career...

    Diaconu have more chances againts Dawson then you may think. He is better technically than most people know and has great power.

    If you ask me he'll hurt Dawson and TKO him arround the 8th.
