DAZN have been in existence in the UK for 5 years, 1 month and 12 days and unlike Mr Hearn, have not penetrated the UK or Oz markets.

The people at the top should go back to the basics of business.

Identify what the UK boxing viewers want and the price most would find reasonable instead of just churning out new terminology, lowering the PPV criteria for fights and coming up with advanced payment methods to poke people.

Take a random sample on the street and ask people about DAZN - for every 100 asked, it would be long odds against finding someone who has even heard of them.

 

Another night paid for where there is no fights.It would have been my last event before my subscripion runs out

Such a vague cancellation announcement that it wouldn’t surprise me if something like that is afoot. Would be surprised if it’s the old ‘shite ticket sales-itis’ that Frank used to pull, given ticket sales don’t seem to matter any more.

 

The undercard was decent. They could have moved the show to a smaller venue and still gone ahead with the night.

 

Be a bit of trash talk and fake beef about how Itauma pulled out scared and suddenly it’ll be “this fight just got bigger than before!”

 

Maybe Itauma tripped over a big pile of unsold tickets?

 

It wasn't that long ago that Frank Warren stated that all of Moses Itauma's upcoming fights would be PPV.

 

They should have.

From the very first fight I have written in this forum that I do not believe in Moses Itauma. A position I still hold today.

 

Ticket sales good apparently.

Should have kept the card on and moved it to Telford or something. Heaney and Liam Davies would sell it out.
