De La Hoya: Klitschko-Haye is Not a Fight, It's an Event!

    Here is what Oscar had to say:

    "First let me clarify that Klitschko vs. Haye is not a fight....it's an event. It's an event that people want to watch. It's a worldwide event, whether it happens in the States, or whether it happens in Europe. David Haye, he knows what he's doing. He's a smart man. He's a great promoter. He knows how to sell a fight. He knows this is a fight that the fans want to watch and they want to watch it now,"

    "And David Haye wants it. There is no doubt in my mind that he wants to fight him and this is the perfect opportunity right now. I'm sure Klitschko is on board. I'm sure David Haye is on board. It's a matter of negotiating that fight and hopefully we'll see that fight sooner than later."

    "Obviously anything can be worked out when my man [Golden Boy CEO] Richard Schaefer is involved. He is the master at making sure that everybody is happy when it comes to making a fight and putting a fight together. I am very optimistic that this fight, the heavyweight championship of the world, can be made,"

    According to David Haye talk are going well this was said after Khan fought in vegas. Also warren has confirmed that wlad does not have to fight chisora first so its looking like we may finally get the fight!

    Says it all. It's an occasion not a battle because it will be entirely one-sided in Wlad's favour and probably not the brawl people would hope for.
