JMM's early career was full of his team (not necessarily him) dodging big fights and pricing themselves out. Morales and Hamed offered him career paydays which he rejected.

Interesting to hear, where did you get this from? I was always told Steward advised Hamed against a Marquez fight.

I thought you liked Pacquiao. Why would you support the man robbing him? If Al Haymon was stealing from Floyd and matching him up against guys who hadn't won a fight in 2 years, then I'd hate his ass too, not defend him :patsch

Arum robbing Pac may or may not be true.

Haymon stealing from Floyd may or may not be true.

After Marquez was his mandatory for 22 straight months, Hamed made offers that weren't at all serious; at one point Marquez pulled out of a fight with someone else to fight Hamed, and then Hamed himself backed out right after. By the time Hamed asked them for a fight on short notice, Marquez knew he didn't have enough time to prepare, and they weren't taking Hamed seriously anymore, while the WBO never made a single move to threaten to strip him.

This is consistent with Emmanuel Steward's statements time and time again that he told Hamed to stay the hell away from Marquez.

Call it a bad business decision, but the WBO should have done more to make the fight happen; this is why petty dollars get in the way of making great fights.

Marquez asked for quite a bit to fight Morales, but Morales never again tried to make the fight happen or negotiate further.

Bad business decisions perhaps from a certain point of view in terms of exposure, but Marquez is now making big bucks with a greater winning streak and sets the terms his way now; he's the one rejecting Morales's offers, so I'd say they weren't too bad after all.

Al Haymon has gained a reputation as one of the best managers in entertainment. He treats his clients much better and looks out for them. That's why Floyd gets 40 million to fight Ortiz and Berto gets 950K to fight Freddy Hernandez

Arum has been known to STEAL from his fighters and owes both Oscar and Floyd money still. Also Vision Quest confirmed that Pacquiao has been underpaid and found out Arum is paying Koncz which is a conflict of interest which is explained at 0:35

Plus Haymon works for Floyd and does what Floyd asks and acts on his best interest. Pacquiao works for Arum and is his puppet. That's why Pac, Roach, Ariza and the whole world wanted the Mayweather fight and your boss Arum was perusing a fourth Marquez fight

So if you are a fan of a fighter, you must also be a fan of his promoter? That's the logic you're applying here. Guess what, all promoters are lying scumbags with money as their bottom denominator. I guess all boxers both present and past who've been associated with promoters at some point are therefore despicable as well? :tired:huh

no no no :nono I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying the opposite. If you're a fan of a fighter, you should HATE his promoter if he's not looking out for him. Haymon looks out for Floyd, so he's cool in my book.

But Arum isn't looking out for Pacquiao and that should be why *******s should dislike him, but instead we got some of them defending him

And you it's pathetic when these pac fans defend Arum just for the hell of it. They should hate him more than anybody.
My friend is a big Martinez fan, but he hates Lou Dibella. He knows he has his best interest at heart, but he feels Lou Dbella is an incompetent POS and wishes Sergio would leave him. He doesn't try and sit there and defend him.

Same for the immediate Pacquiao rematch aswell, which Marquez's team declined for a career high payday. Marquez career could've gone so much different. He always cries about not having gotten the big fights and recognition early in his career, he was partly to blame.

I'd love to see Marquez-Morales beating the **** out of each other. I can only see it happening should Pac-Marquez IV not come about. I don't know what all the fuss is about, that's a much bigger fight and logically would take priority for both Marquez and Top Rank over a Morales bout.
