Heavyweight: Muhammed Ali vs Lennox Lewis (or Klitchskos). 70s Ali was past prime, so was Lewis, but I see his jab/speed/size/reach edging Ali out Light Heavyweight: Bob Foster v Roy Jones Jr Jones, Foster is primarily a left hooker and he's facing the fastest/best left hooker in history. He is rangier but gives up his height and fights small. Obviously Jones has the huge speed/reflex advantage, he also has the power to stop Foster. Middleweight: Carlos Monzon v Bernard Hopkins I see Hops as the most skilled of the 2 men Welterweight: Ray Leonard v Shane Mosley Ray easily beats Mosley, who certainly isn't the best of the 00s, Ray would have a much tougher challenge against Forrest or Mayweather, but probably win out Lightweight: Roberto Duran v Floyd Mayweather Jr I don't think Duran matches up well with defensive counter punchers and see FMJ winning on the outside, making Duran miss allot and holding his own inside Featherweight: Eder Joffre v Manny Pacquia Pacman, too much of a wirlwind, nearer his prime with more stamina/strength at the weight Bantamweight: Rueben Olivares v Rafael Marquez Hard to pick a winner here, in a brawl I see Olivares winning, if Marquez's concentrates on his boxing I see him winning, another 2-2 series for Marquez perhaps Flyweight: Miguel Canto v Wonjongkam Canto has the superior skills so have to go with him, haven't really spent much time watching this weight class
Maybe the late 70's Ali you could pick Wlad, but not the early 70's Ali. Don't overrate the man, he's got skills, but has hardly been in with any type of competition.
Any (good) reason Ernesto Marcel or even Alexis Arguello aren't there representing the featherweights in the 70's? They'd both beat Pac.
I would actually use vernon forrest instead of shane mosley because he's a tall boxer with a jab, he would stand a better chance than mosley.

Each poster can put their own fighters in, but in the first round, no one really tried to make too much of a case for either of these guys. The 70s really do seem to be ahead here, having a much easier time than they did in their battle with the 30s in round one.
