Hard to avoid the takedown when you're fighting Kabib though. But intruiging match-up for sure.

Namajunas is also very skilled imo. She gave a masterclass in boxing before Andrade smashed her head first onto the canvas.

I have to say that there are far more upsets in MMA than in boxing. But perhaps that's due to the fact that in MMA the best often fight the best while in boxing they try to avoid them at all costs. You never see a, say, 12-1 guy (or lady) fight a 4-8 opponent in MMA while in boxing opponents are often just used to build a resume for the better fighter, especially in the early stages of his career.

Decent card with fairly predictable results,Cejudo looked great and is improving with every fight especially his striking and it may be a while before he gets beaten again.

Jessica Eye didn't even belong in the same cage with Shevchenko who doesn't look to have much competition currently at Flyweight, imo she should be 1-1 with Nunes and we should be talking about a trilogy between the 2 but i'm not sure what they will do with her now, maybe Chookagian who had a good win against Calderwood and who I thought got robbed against Eye in her fight before.

Fergerson has to get the title shot next and I believe he has a good shot against either Khabib or Poirier but I REALLY want to see him and Poirier fight.

I would say that on the basis of that performance Jessica Eye has earned herself a rematch. :SimpHomer: To be serious, I was a bit worried about her for awhile. She was out for a long time. Much as I enjoy watching this stuff, I don't want to see someone get seriously hurt. Just hurt enough to lose the fight if I'm rooting for the other guy (or girl), but that's it.

Tferg is my favourite fighter easily and OBVIOUSLY he should fight the winner of Khabib-Poirier but I would also be happy for him to get paid $$$$ to smash Conor to bits also. Tony has won 12 straight against all comers at 155. I would bet my life Conor couldn't string a 3 fight streak against top 10 lightweights. Honestly I would even strongly favour guys like Paul Felder over McGregor.

Conor could probably still beat some of the guys in the top 10. But I agree that I don't see him having a run of several wins in a row anymore. There's not enough long term commitment in him anymore to do that imo. He enjoys the good life a bit too much and makes tons of money with his whiskey.
