frank warren stated degale is the best prospect he has ever managed. thats pretty high regard considering warren has looked after the best british talent over the past 20 years. do you agree with his comments. personally i do, but still nee3d to see him against better opponants before im certain.

Degale looked absolutely superb against Smith but it's hard to say if he's better than the names you've listed, not enough fights just now to make that comparison for me.

I take Warren's comments with a pinch of salt. Calzaghe, Hatton and Khan all left him on bad terms so he's probably been waiting for a new, talented prosepct to come along so he can tell everyone how much better he is, compared to those mentioned.

DeGale does look a great fighter though.

Ill be boring and sit on the fence and say maybe and maybe :?

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Where to start? In fact it doesn't even warrant a breakdown of what a load of shite that is from Warren.

This. Frank is like a bitter spurned girlfriend. Every now and then he needs to churn up some names from the past that he was linked to and remind himself why he hates them. Degale better than Naz? Suuuure Frank. Suuuuuuure

Warren talks crap. He has also been on record saying Calzaghe is the best this and the best that, same with Naz.

ridiculous - i was impressed that degale was able to outclass smith so much at this stage in his career, but not impressed with degales actual performance, if that makes sense. i still think he punches poorly except his hooks which do look good. it wasnt the display of someone who can push on and dominate divisions, but it was a display which showed enough ability to be there or thereabouts a word title for sure in the future. i think it mainly just showed smiths obvious limitations.

As soon as Degale leaves him, he'll be nothing more than yesterday's garbage in Warren's eyes. In Frank's twisted view, it's him that makes the fighters great in the first place. Once that sole driving force behind their success (lol) is gone, the same fighters all become trash.

Degale is clearly better than they were after they had 9 fights.

He is going to be an absolute star and I have said it from Day 1.
