Just re-watched the fight how did you score it?
i had a draw 115-115 (lots of rounds could of gone either way)

    R1-JD ?
    R2-GG ?
    R3-GG
    R4-GG ?
    R5-GG ?
    R6-JD
    R7-GG ?
    R8-JD
    R9-JD
    R10-GG
    R11-JD ?
    R12-JD

Also Predictions for Re-match (IF IT HAPPENS) and reasoning?
I'd Prob back Groves (9/4 with the bookies) just on the basis i think they are evenly matched, i dis agree that degale has excelled in last few fight (only beat Periban who was massive and Gonzalez who is poor) the Dirrell win was a close one but with out the poor start from dirrell it would of been a loss. Groves not quite been same since Froch but not done anything wrong (or too much anyway). If Groves beats Jack (which i expect tbh) i dont see how its a 1/3. 9/4 match.. id of been closer to 8/11-1/1. Think it would be a very close fight again just because DeGale not active enough.

the first fight was as near as a draw as you can get ...it could have went either way and nobody could complain..DeGale needed to step up workrate later on to win the fight outright imo

however i think DeGale wins easily if they fight again...Groves has been Cobra'd

I had it 115-112 for Groves although I like both, Groves landed many more shots and was effective to the body.

Chunky was being a ***** in that fight and he and his corner had no plan b

I had DeGale winning the fight, he landed the more telling punches in my opinion and was the aggressor in the fight. In the last couple of years Groves has regressed and DeGale has progressed, I think he stops Groves in the rematch.

being the aggressor means **** all, does that mean dirrell beat degale because he was the aggressor?

does it mean froch beat ward?

    I believe GG won personally.

I also think he bumped into an incredibly inexperienced Degale who allowed the build up and all that goes with it affect his performance. I know they were both inexperienced in terms of fights but mentally I think GG was a lot further on than James.

Rematch is a one sided points decision in favour of Degale, for me.

I still think it was the best thing that could have happened to DeGale.

It levelled him, he would have been unbearable if he had won and would have been detested forever by the majority of British boxing fans.

DeGale gets a lot of love these days, seems more humble, understands that what he says will stay with him and more important than any of that he has grown up.

I scored the fight to Groves by a round or two I believe when I watched it live, re watched and had DeGale winning by a round or two. I wouldn't argue with people scoring it either way.

I believe DeGale would stop Groves in a rematch.

Still fancy groves in a rematch. Reckon the sky/matchroom hype etc gets the better of people. Groves looks a bit vulnerable at times. But hes the better fighter imo. Wouldnt surprise me if he actually stopped degale. Narrowish points win more likely tho. Amazing the turnaround of degale since hes been backed by matchroom. Picked the right fights to make him look good and gave him positive coverage. Degales the same guy he always was their just promoting him better. Groves doesnt have that same luxury. Imo effects peoples perception. Groves won that first fight narrowly but he won it and for me would beat him again.

Am a Degale fan but had groves by a round. Do fancy Degale in the rematch if he takes his emotion and hatred for groves out of it, he will walk it.

You are the only person, other than DeGale himself, who I have ever heard refer to him as 'chunky'.

DeGale still needs to take too many breaks. I wanted him to lose first time round as he'd been such a bellend. On a rewatch a year ago two things struck me - one, the fight was boring (switch off the sound), two, DeGale could easily have got that verdict.

Thought Groves just by a point.I think it is a fight that could of had gone either way or a draw.

DeGale has improved his conditioning and I think the Froch fights have taken a lot out of GG,really fancy DeGale to win a rematch between them.
