    Well thats ambitious what if Groves loses (likely) whilst a good fighter he would be a poor headliner fro sat fight night

    Spot on. Groves isn't going anywhere near world class level.

    I would imagine its dependent on him being in title fights.

    How many does the Excel hold for boxing? How much would Sky pay £100k? I don't think it will be easy for the promoter to make money out of this. £400k was an unrealistic bid at this stage of both fighters careers.

    This really pisses me off. Why do Sky agree these deals ahead of time? Why not pay money fight-by-fight depending on the quality of the fight? Who on earth is going to outbid them for a big fight? Premier? Primetime? ITV? Don't think so.
