On Saturday DeGale didn't have a clue what to do when his opponent came forwards either. It seems anyone who denies him the distance to punch confuses him.

One-dimensional pretty much sums him up.

The way people go on its like Degale got destroyed in that fight, when he lost by one round which could have gone the other way

Neither, DeGale has come up short in his last couple of performances and Groves is a knockout waiting to happen. Against top fighters I think DeGale is slightly more competitive due to the fact he hasn't got a poor chin like Groves, though obviously based on his latest performances he's ****ed as well. But basically all top fighters would KO Groves very quickly, simply can't hold a punch. DeGale hurt him and he doesn't even punch properly. Anderson had him out on his arse

Yes, I thought there were signs Groves was hurt on at least one occasion. DeGale's pressure was abysmal to take advantage of it though. Groves chin is pretty bad, all the signs are there but I suppose he'll have to be knocked out for people to realize that finally.

He's not the sturdiest, but James only hurt him when he headbutted him. DeGale looks a little fragile too after Saturday.

I have a horrible feeling Degale will turn out to be Audley Mk II. Olympic gold medalist who can't mix it at world level in the Pro game.

Even though Groves beat Degale I do feel he is a fair bit greener. He's a young lad too so will only get stronger.

But honestly I don't know, but I'm going to say Groves because he's being managed the right way, taking things at a nice pace and acknowledging flaws and looking to develop.

Degale just tends to make excuses instead of looking at what he does wrong and improving.

Groves showed how to beat him. imo Degale is an accident waiting to happen. Groves down to he has the best trainer that can take him forward.

Iv'e seen more skills from Groves than I have Degale, which makes me think he can go further in the long run, Groves seems a lot more realistic about his ability and shown a willingness to improve, Degale is the total opposite, I think he's living off the back he won a Olympic gold medal and thinks he' something he's not, I thought a loss on his record would change that but it seems it hasn't.
