Bernstein states that this fight could be the final eliminator for the WBC title. Hard to believe.

It's like he just labours and runs short of ideas.

The difference in talent is there to be seen, he shouldn't be going into the 11th with this guy. Fair play to him, he is tough but Groves for example would have had him out of there in 3 or 4 in my opinion.

Shocking performance against a hugely limited guy who looked knackered from the second round

Think he just lacks that killer instinct to be a true top drawer fighter in all honesty. Do think he has the talent, just not the mentality to do it at the top level

To me he looks lazy, could go in and press more when they are on the ropes, but cba for the most part. For those who said he would trouble Froch,he wouldn't. He doesn't have the power

He's talking about world titles, but seems pretty far off IMO. He always seems to be in battles with nobodys. Would this fella have taken Froch or Groves into the 11th? I very much doubt it.

Degale would be in the fight for 3/4 rounds against Froch, switch hitting, throwing flash jabs etc then he would get steam rolled... no doubt about it.

Used to be a big Degale fan he looked amazing against Paul Smith but he has got worse I think, too lazy and doesn't seem to know what style he wants to box. I personally think he should stick to southpaw and use his counter punching skills but he seems to just walk forward in no particular stance and throw strange shots, I haven't seen too much of Bika but I hear its a very winnable fight?

The guy he was facing was brave but so overmatched, yet Degale's face still told a story he takes far too many punches for a 'slick' counterpuncher, in the end he closed the show well, but it's not good that the level of fighter he is facing since Groves has been D/C level guys.
He's talented enough to step in with some of the better names in that division, sadly I think Hennessy is holding him back.

Aye, can see it ending for degale like how froch ended bute

Think he's happy where he is, gets paid well and can get away with being complacent fighting a low level of fighter

Degale looked awful, he tries to be a Roy Jones counterpuncher but he has no power at all, can't even finish a fighter who's finished on the ropes, he gets ko'd at world level.
