I'm quite indifferent with regards to DeGale. I think he has talen but I genuinely dont think he'll be as big of a star as he has led himself to believe. With Warren I do not doubt for a second that he can get a title however, will he be classed as a "World Class Operator"? I do not think so. Will he ever be loved across the world? I dont think so.

I always think of Hamed when I see entrances like that however DeGale:

A: Has had 6 fights and achieved nothing so far in the pro ranks
B: Is nowehere near (and never will be) as destructive and entertaining as Hamed
C: Is liked by nobody I know. Hamed split opinion a'la Eubank but I know nobody who has taken to Degale.

The only similarity I see between the two of them is that (IN MY OPINION) DeGale is sooner or later going to step up to a level where he has no business and will be beaten soundly, thus providing the general public with huge amusement and a plethora of "I told you so"'s

 

O dear.

I dont hate the guy but if he's spending time with twats like the ones who pretend to suck him off on his ringwalk he's gonna get caught out when the time comes to knuckle down against better boxers.

If that much time is being spent designing flashy t shirts, thinking up **** raps, choreographing dance moves and trying to be all London town, when it comes to a top level fight his mind and preparations being on crap like that will see him knocked out.

Hamed could get away with it, he had one off skills and power.

Funky chunky ****** is above average and thats it.

I hope he isolates himself,knuckles down and takes himself as far as his talent allows him and makes his country proud at the same time but the early signs ain't good.

 

Saw the fights yesterday and DeGales ring entrance was ****ing hilarious :rofl Much worse than Rogies effort with the Irish rapper....

entrance was so awful , degale just makes himself look like a right idiot but he thinks he coming across as a cool smooth guy but he's really not doing it n it all looks very fake.

 

Degales a fanny and anderson is goign to smash him and show him up fr the fanny he is .

 

He did drop in the odd zooom zooom zooom zooom zooom as well. Maybe he had watched a Mazda advert when he was making up his Chuuuunnnnkkky lyrics (whilst sat on the toilet with degale watching).

This guy came across as a complete cocksucker.

Its not like he is ass kissing a Prime Undisputed Heavyweight Champion in Mike Tyson who has got $250 ,000 ,000 in the bank.

DeGale is on a Sporting Superstar "minimum wage" - only £1.5 million over the course of 2or 3 years.

Elton John would spend £1.5 million on bar bills , hotels , flights , resturants , clothes, and hosting parties in a Month.

Dont get me wrong - £1.5 million is alot to most people - myself included.

But most people dont act like a superstar and have total knobs ass kissing them in front of TV cameras.

What a ego DeGale has - what makes him think he is worthy of having a rapper pave his way to the ring for him.

And DeGale had time and attention for the ass kisser as well - lapping it all up.

 

Yeah, DeGayle is a total ***** there is no doubting that.
If he had some humility and didn't try and big himself up to the rediculous degrees that he has so far then the British (or maybe that should be English) public would take to him.

His laughable pontificating and self obsessed ranting is what makes him so un-likeable. He is like a mouthy chav off the streets and you know how annoying those little ****ers are.
His entrance the other night sums him up perfectly - dickhead.

Sad thing is that if he is managed a la Khan then he has a chance of winning a belt of some sort. But if he ever takes on a true top class operator in the division he will lose badly imo.

 

Meh I was expecting worse before watching the video. All he did was a little shuffle, the boot cleaning was weird though. It isn't exactly to my taste but it's different so gets an OK from me.
The ring entrance was stupid, but it's what he wants to do so let him get on with it, if it helps his confidence before the fight then good for him. The thing I didn't like was when he won he did that shoulder brushing ****. Think it's very disrespectful to your opponent especially when he didn't have a chance to begin with and as far as I'm aware Barr wasn't saying **** or anything lol so didn't deserve it. Being confident, cocky and having questionable ring walks are fine to me, disrespectful behaviour isn't :nono

 

What a **** entrance! Degale's a massive **** he needs humbling before he loses his 5 person strong fan base.

I love the way that the announcer takes the time to learn his one line :happy He looks so ****ing pleased with himself when he manages to say "Degale" without looking at his notes.
