do you think he has what it takes to be anything? lots of you brits **** on him in the mention of sexton and fury.. do you not think he has possibility? I think he is pretty decent and a good character.. I see lots of disbelief. :huh
well he don't help himself but he seems to understood when there's being funny and when it's not. He's a handy fighter. Applies good pressure and throws good variation of shots and seems to have decent ring IQ. It depends on the Sexton fight...this will see how good he is. He beat him already but this is different fight. I want to see how he handles the later stages of a fight and when things aren't going his way. He's got ability that's for sure.
Good boxer, decent power, not very fit, nothing "special" in him or any potential "wow" factor (i.e. iron chin, tysonesque speed/power or particularly clever tactical boxing) he wont get a world title, maybe euro if a very average heavyweight happened to hold the title at that time, atm there is a good few Brits he needs to beat/fight first before he goes Euro or gatekeeper status even... He's good, but not very good, certainly never excellent/great.
Think he's the best of a bad British bunch at the minute (Haye and even Harison excluded as "world title" holders/challengers). Love to see him in there with a live international opponenet to see how he handles himself.
its amazing how audleys status has risen so dramatically after a prizefighter win against bum-class oppo, and a slightly fortuitous ko against michael sprott after being dominated (1 hand or not) for 11 rounds. by this bizarre logic, sprott should at least be only slightly less rated than audley and therefore above chisora too. personally dont agree with any of that though - i think chisora is the next best after haye, audley and sprott are way down on my list.
He comes across as a nasty **** who, in his short career, has already been suspended for biting! Nice. It looks like he could turn out to be a top domestic level fighter, euro at best but he's done nothing to win any friends.
I think he's pretty good but I know that there are one or two in the industry who don't rate him at all.
i have changed my stance on him personality wise. thats jsut what he is like so get on with it. he will beat sexton but i dont think he goes much further. a loss would probably do him good.
I think he could be the best of the current domestic bunch. There should be a few good fights out there for him in the near future.
For me Domestic level only, and for those mentioning Danny it is grapes. However, it is a good reference, as he is nowhere near as good as Danny and his application is not much better at this stage.
