oscar would fight margo the way he fought mayorga, and there would be a similar result. oscar's punches are too short, straight, and precise for the "looping" margarito. especially an over-the-hill margarito that pac fought.

 

I wish people would stop putting marges name amongst elite fighters. As far as I'm concerned Marge was exposed with hand wrap thing. Without the wraps he was ko'd, won a decision against a can and was dominated by an undersized opponant who had no business at 154. Marge was never elite. Delahoya ko's that bum. Too much power from Oscar. Too much defense, intelligence, and skill. Only thing tone has is that bull**** machismo and that would prolong the beating and possibly damage him for life.

 

I had a poll up at that time and Margo was the overwhelming favorite

 

At 154 DLH by ko. Margarito would be tailor made for a late career win. The left hook...

 

De La Hoya by late stoppage. De La Hoya was a better puncher than Pacquiao at the weight.

 

Both have great chin. I'll go for DLH by close decision.
