    R3 Flanagan 10-9 close
    R4 Lebedev 10-9
    R5 Lebedev 10-9

Lebedev getting a rhythm on his jab, landing some lefts as well. Overall a lack of action still. Flanagan not doing much, too bad he doesn't believe in himself.

Flanagan's still hanging in there and boxing well. With the exception of the fourth, a lot of these rounds are being decided by one or two clean punches at most.

Going to be pretty disappointed in Lebedev if Flanagan manages to survive a full twelve, which is seemingly likelier with each passing minute. Flanagan is conserving enough that he probably won't gas out enough to be a sitting duck, and unless his game plan is to launch the nukes late in the second half, Lebedev seems content to pot shot his way to a UD here...

Good round from Lebedev. Flanagan tries to be more active, but his terrible punching technique isn't doing anything in there.

    10-9 Lebedev
    68-66 Lebedev

More accurate work from Lebedev this round.

Dull fight so far. 67-66 Lebedev.

Already pretty safe to say Lebedev is past it.

Flanagan just isn't getting any positive action going his way. He's getting tagged with single shots here and there, losing the round.

Clear Lebedev round in round 7. Even taking into account Flan's better than expected performance you'd still have to have Swan up by three points, at the very least.

    Round 7

Lebedev is keeping his lead foot inside Flanagan's, ducking jabs or rolling to one side to let them graze his shoulder, countering with the right. Lebedev peppering Flanagan with high jabs and crooking the left around into the side of the neck, backing him up. Flanagan tries meeting Lebedev in the pocket with a big left rip on the body and is muscled off.

    10-9 Lebedev

    69-64 Lebedev

How would Lebedev's career have progressed if he had been given the nod against Huck all those years ago? Any difference?

Also somewhat funny how his losses come against massive fighters who struggle to make the weight and end up having a considerable side advantage over him. It's definitely been a consistent issue throughout his career.
