Drozd jabs Monrose in the face and hooks him in the body, pursuing him across the ring. Monrose leads him on a slow chase, stumbling away and trying erratic upper body movement to throw off Drizd's offensive rhythm. Monrose covers his face and leans in to grab onto Drozd, flailing down with both fists on the way in. Jabs and uppercuts by Drozd, tiring again and not sitting on his punches. Monrose keeps holding. Drozd settles down and begins to patiently pick Monrose apart with his jab from outside. Drozd lands a right cross behind the jab while bending his neck to slip a Monrose high jab.

Round 11

Monrose moves left and gets his forehead stamped by Drozd's jab. Drozd is on the aggressive, sticking the jab accurately no matter where Monrose's slow ducking and weaving takes him. Drozd takes a half step to his right, then pivots to swing his back leg around and reset when Monrose reacts by moving the other way. Drozd jabs his way in and Monrose lifts his arm horizontally to barricade Drozd, leaning his weight into it against Drozd's midsection while burying his head underneath the jab. Drozd pushes into Monrose and takes a couple of steps back to line up his jab. Monrose tries to catch him with uppercuts during the leanings.

Yeah, got some fair licks in.

"Pretty Boy" is going to look less like hell for the rest of the week than Monrose - but people will damn sure know he was engaged in some fisticuffs. :yep

 

Round 12

Monrose is bending all the way over to one side, almost able to touch his toes with his knuckles and resembling an oil rig. Drozd jabs over his left shoulder, then retracts and adjusts to get a bead on his face. Monrose is timing Drozd's jab by firing rights to the body and trying to hold around his waist. Drozd works some uppercuts on the inside to pry him off. Monrose gets in a few jabs up top. Drozd triple hooks Monrose in the ear, partially blocked but backing him up. Big uppercut combo by Drozd, powerful but slow and telegraphed enough for Monrose to escape. Drozd presses in with his jab and Monrose clutches at his torso, holding on as Drozd slaps the body. They break apart and trade shots toe to toe for the final ten seconds, wildly slinging haymakers to head and body.
