    Round 12

Lebedev is throwing his gloves up alternately to fend off jabs and chops from Kalenga. Lebedev is peppering light body shots while bent over each time he ducks and rolls. Kalenga is applying steady pressure. HUGE right hand on the schnoz by Kalenga. Lebedev's head jerked back, but he keeps smoothly circling away. Double right jab and side-armed left by Lebedev. Kalenga winds up a big right and cracks a stationary Lebedev standing right in front of him. Very light flurries by Lebedev, exhausted, pitter-patter against Kalenga's guard. Jabs by Kalenga, blocked or slipped, setting up huge chopping rights that partially land on the shoulder.

    10-9 Kalenga

    116-110 Lebedev

Good win for Lebedev but he's a faded fighter. I'd fancy the other 3 belt holders to beat him

Has a Denis Lebedev fight ever not been supremely entertaining?

No Kalengas stock has risen, most including myself thought he would get KO'd after a onesided fight. He knocked Lebedev down, won a couple of rounds and lasted the distance. He gave a good account of himself, and surpassed the expectations of most people.

See I gave Lebedev the 12th...

    Good showing by both men

Lebedev looked good, but needs to learn how to counter when he makes someone miss. Also he himself was getting countered pretty much whenever he let off first.

Still he won, and still he's another good cw in the mix
