Now that I think of it, Wilder has fought 11 times. Hmmm...OH ****! You know what else I just realized? David Haye got knocked out by a cruiserweight in his 11th fight.

Wait a minute. Oh wow. I can't believe it. I just realized ANOTHER thing. David Haye is an overhyped BEYOTCH!

The resumes don't matter anyway. The thread is focusing on what is going to happen in the next few years to come. That was covered quite clearly though. Pretty cut and dry really.

The guy had extremely limited amateur experience and little boxing training in general, he was a basketball player for most of his life. He was also knocked out brutally in the amateurs. They're building his confidence right now.

You'd be foolish to dismiss him. Even though he's been fighting nothing but fat bums, you can tell that he's a sharp puncher with great athleticism. He has the tools. Now they need to step him up against more durable opponents who could be considered at least club fighters.

 

Bronze. Medal.

 

Oh, silly me. He DID hold that ever so prestigious EBU belt shortly didn't he? Too bad he got knocked out when he decided to step up to the semi-legit WBO CRUISERWEIGHT belt, and that's right, still in the U.K. There are cab drivers in America that would do the same thing if they fought strictly in the U.K. Let me guess, you guys think Calzaghe holding the WBO belt for years in the minor leagues is a big deal, don't you?
