You have to question his mental ability at this point. Only reason for Wilder to still be led down this route is because he is mentally incapacitated.

This is going to end as one of those stories in 10 years time Wilder will be taking Haymon and Finkel to court to get back the $100m they advised him to reject.

I would love him to lose to Breazeale and lose all hope of the Joshua payday, but then again he basically doesn't want it anyway by the looks of it.

 

It is actually clever form Haymon and Wilder has fallen for it. Take it off PPV so no one can tell you cant carry your own PPV and sell shocking numbers and we will get you the AJ fight on showtime by telling everyone it does 2m PPV buys.... yeah OK then

 

If he did it on PPV and it tanked, he’d lose leverage for a Joshua fight. He has no multifight deal with anyone.

 

He just lost leverage in the AJ fight he turned down $100m and has now proven he cannot single handedly carry a PPV so brings F ALL to the table but the belt.

 

Wilder now telling everyone how crap this fight is going to be.
