Frazier was pretty good at fighting short and I don't think that a lot of you understand how hard it is to hit a guy that is good at that. Some tall fighters- think Foster and Arguello- dealt with that by developing good inside uppercuts, short left hooks. Wilder didn't do any of those things, and I don't believe that he ever fought anybody that was good at being short. Then you have to factor in that Eddie Futch was significantly smarter than any of the guys in Wilder's corner. We all know how Frazier is going to fight; coming forward, slipping and rolling, looking to get close and land his left hand. Wilder will look to use his length to stay away and give himself time to figure out how to land his right hand. Every time he shoots that right hand it is a gamble; if he lands he could win, if Frazier slips it, he is on Wilder's chest. The variable is if Wilder is strong enough to straight arm Frazier and keep him off.
I'll say like I said for Marciano. If Frazier can recover when he gets tagged, he wins this. If not, Wilder by KO.
When Wilder won the title he was 219 pounds. Frazier cannot beat someone that heavy. The two-teens and up are just a bridge too far.
