Who you got? I think Wilder wins by stoppage. Whyte has terrible defense, so Wilder will hit him with right hands all night.
Wilder is a bum. His defence is his height which allows him to hold distance on an opponent spilka was outjabbing him for 5 rounds for gods sake. Whyte has a good shot to work inside and put it on Wilder. Wilders wild or uncalculated long range offense is useless intill his opponent gets tired or lazy. Still to this day who is Wilders best opponent? and how fast does AJ stop him? Looks like Wilder has avoided him anyway for another taxi driver.
This is exactly why Whyte has no chance against Wilder. Whyte has awful stamina and would eventually gas against Wilder and pay for it.
Other than buzzing AJ and getting a little gift v Chisora I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with Whyte... Wilder would windmill Whyte to the canvas after being made to look a little silly for a few rounds...
If it's such an easy win for Wilder, why didn't he take it? Would have been a good payday as well. In all likely hood he'll face Stiverne or another mediocre voluntary next.
Wilder would bury Dillon but it could be a really entertaining fight. Also thank you OP for the proper spelling of Dilian's name.
When you break it down like that,Whyte is far better than Spilka,Washington and would cause double the trouble those two did,Wilder has not been in with an opponent yet who can take advantage of when he over reaches and is head is just right there waiting to be sparked out,I've seen this opportunity in every fight of Wilders and it's only because the opponents have been so awful that he's not been stopped. Whyte had AJ on wobbly legs and this was a Whyte who'd been hammered for two rounds and somehow stayed on his feet, imagine what he could do against an opponent who telegraphs that right hand as much as Wilder, who doesn't have a jab and just seems to have gotten worse where all he looks to do is set up the right? Originally I'd of said Wilder on account of his size and physicality and gas tank but I honestly think Whyte could take Wilders power like Stiverne did and I really think now that Whyte would win. Pointless thread though really as we all know Wilders MO,for someone who was just dying to fight Ortiz he's not had much to say about it and the longer this goes on with Stiverne it leads me to believe he's keeping Stiverne in line just in case someone like Whyte calls his bluff. Why else would he drag this awful fight out for so long, unlike AJ with Pulev I'm not sure there's a date set to fight the Buffet King before and with Stiverne kicking his heels in and not taking step aside money I think that once again it's so obvious that Wilder and the WBC are in cahoots with this.
Maybe so,after seeing an interview with Whyte the other day I couldn't help like the guy,he's honest to a tee, even explained his next stay busy fight with "a new bum as the other old n past it bum didn't happen lol. Also you gotta like him for being up for facing anyone,he doesn't pretend to be the best but he's prepared to give it a go against anyone come what may, gotta like this. After that funny reply from Hearn to Wilder where's he's got the shades on,Wilder actually replied saying he'd be in touch with a proposal, when asked a week later Hearn said he'd not heard back from him lol
Wilder refused to fight Whyte for $4,000,000! There is a reason for such, Wilder wants to fight another wino!
