Wilder is a high quality heavy but he needs to get real. His mandatory will end up being another fight against Stiverne. I flicked their first fight off after a few rounds it was that boring. Not another one, ffs. Let's hope Povetkin passes the polygraph test. Povetkin: "I ate contaminated meat". WBC: "Okay, you're the mandatory".
excuses like that only work for north american based fighter lol, if a russian tried that he would get laughed out of the building it took the wbc 6 months to sort out the meldonium issue when no rules were even broken ffs
The hand injury is a b.s excuse bc you are still using the hands and will have the same chance of reinjury . My prediction he'll somehow avoid anyone and fight either the winner of the Joshua fight a year from now . Im not to into it bci would rather see a Wilder vs Joshua but i still have to call what i see and its blatently a stradedgy again to not fight any relevant fighter while pretending to try and put fights together but blame Lou Dibella more hes a slime bag business man who is out for himself ( I actually sat next to this idiot in a barber shop and overhearing him belittle someone all the while giving the barber a hard time by making it difficult bc he wouldn't get off the phone ) he just walked out AFTER he made the guy stand there for 5 minutes ,like he wasnt there ,this is the type of person you guys are dealing with in the decision making here . lol BTW that was around 2008 !
Wilder's reluctance to take hard fights baffles me. Parker is available and wide open for an offer: big fight in NZ, USA or even UK. Ortiz is available, Haymon and Hearn work together. If Deonkey wants to give us another freak show in Alabama then fight Shannon Briggs at least.
i think briggs is a bit to dangerous, he might still have a chin while wilder is to blame for constantly picking useless opponents the wbc are just as much to blame for enabling it and having terrible rankings
Lucas Browne used it and everyone believed him. Until he signed up to the voluntary testing program & got busted again.
do you know why they believed him? lol because he said the evil russians spiked him. thats the only reason anyone believed he's bs if a russian pulled that contaminated lark, they would get a life time ban
I'll give him a tune up pass on this one but his time has run out with me. He needs to step that sh#t up. I don't wanna see no Stiverne rematch. AJ has Wlad, and Otiz. I would like to see Wilder fight Miller, Parker and then AJ. AJ is one fight ahead of him so he should be able to take a breather and be setting the stage for Wilder after the Parker fight. Hopefully they both keep winning because a showdown between those two will a huge event. UK vs US sweeeeet!
The FRAUD strikes again! Scraping the bottom of the barrel as usual! This is indefensible. What a sorry choice of opponent.
Another bum. Other then Povetkin this bum's next next opponent is Danny ****ing Williams. Wilder is the biggest joke in the division.
a tune up is garbage - he still only fought quite recently...he's not really had a long layoff by any stretch. Its plain and simple protecting his 0 till he can get a big cash out fight. I think he does want AJ/Wlad winner - that'd be 3 belts on the line plus mega money that will be enough to retire on if the worst was to happen and he get whats been a long time coming.... I can't see any reason he'd dodge Parker - he's always saying how he's gonna be the man to unify the division..well he just had a chance to get belt 2 and he dodged it. Why ? Cos its risky and the money for a Parker fight wouldn't be the same as an AJ fight. All his talk about being the man of the division is shown to be BS. He's simply waiting to cash his chips on the big time.
