It is a two sided struggle for me On one hand I want to see PPV die and I hope the bad PPV numbers continue and boxing moves to more non cable and basic cable channels and easily accessible app platforms to even things like youtube and facebook on the other I dont want the sport to decline and see the business end struggle and have negative implications for future events and fights I think for a while the fans did get fleeced especially by Mayweather and Pacquiao with their one sided ppv's and eventually the bubble had to burst. I hope they sort out the end to PPV without hurting the overall sport
whyte has earned more money that Ortiz has since he was born back in 200 B.C. and thats what its all about at the end of the day
Exactly Its surreal. Tyson avoiding the rematch is public record. Yet people still try to live in the fantasy that Wilder was the one that avoided Fury. Amazing.
Ruiz and Joshua are fighting each other on the 7th Usyk wasn't going to jump to hw to fight DW in his first fight. He fought Fury. Not DW fault he was coked up and missed time Povetkin failed a test stop the nonsense. None of the rest of those hw are as good as Ortiz. Stop the bs man come on.
I still dont understand how that ref just didnt wave that off instantly. Glad he didnt but that was brutal.
and that's why Deontay is only paid $3 mil purse. Also anyone notice the arena was about half empty.... U have to be INSANE to pay $80 for that fight. thats crazy
It's been a whole week now and still no news about the numbers. That tells you everything you need to know. I've been corresponding with a burlesque dancer in Tuscaloosa for a number of years now and her brother is also a huge boxing fan too and she said he told her that he's never even heard of Bum Squad before let alone bought one of his PPVs.
