I initially liked Derek Chisora, and thought he came across pretty funny and colourful in his recent interview with Flex. However, he didn't really endear himself on Bunce's show and came across as a bit of a nob-head. Like he was trying too hard to be "cool". No big deal though. His behaviour last night though was a disgrace, especially more so in his attitude about it afterwards - as if he was mocking everyone and gloating because he got away with it. :nono As Rhinocoote posted above me, Butlin deserves a lot of credit for the way he handled it and conducted himself afterwards. He could have easily, and would be well within his rights to, kick up a fuss about it. Well done Paul Butlin. :good What was surprising though was why Chisora felt the need to stoop to such depths, considering he was boxing really well. I felt he looked really good last night and it is a shame he tarnished it with his behaviour. Come on Derek, you can be better than that.
I think that Chisora will be a good test for Fury... he will bring a lot of things that many others have yet to test Fury out with.... I hope that FuRy gives him a hiding..... there is no place in this sport for people who bite their opponent.... :ban1 Nicky Piper made a great point... Derek Chisora is a joke he turned pro 2 years ago and has only had 10 fights where fury turned pro about 6 months ago and has had 6 fight and has fought the better fighters
He doesn't sound like he's got much drive or ambition to me. Interviewer: What do you work on at this stage of your career? Chisora: I don't know what I work on :huh Fitness (DUH) That is not an attitude of improvement.
