Dereveychenko vs Andrade

I can understand him saying that he is not prepared physically but how long does he need and is he just extending the fight date or not fighting at all. If he doesn't want the fight then he's ducking in my opinion. He does a lot of talking about his skills so I feel that he needs to put up or shut up.

 

Me too. The skills are there but something must be wrong with this kid's mind for him to not be further along than he is at this point. Running away from Charlo and then being inactive for years sitting on a shelf is just a really bad sign. I guess it didn't hurt Ward or Garcia recently but it's definitely ***** behavior, which is often indicative of mental weakness.

 

Inflated sense of self-worth. He wants everything right away without having to work for it or proving that he deserves it.

 

Excellent post he does to seem to have a lot of Chad Dawson in him appears to be mentally weak like Chad.

 

How did they find proper sparring?

Featherfisted Blake Caparello put Kovalev down with a jab and nobody ever said he was chinny.

Johnson was seen as chinny before the Derevyanchenko fight, after the fight Kiwiman was talking like TJ was a iron chinned warrior lol. Maybe Derevyanchenko has overrated power?

 

Daniel Jacobs is legitimately chinny and went 12 rounds with GGG and many thought he beat him!!!!

Jacobs did barely get hit by GGG tbf

 

And I hate to say that because Chad was my favorite guy(not counting Roy, Toney or Hagler)
but there were so many stories of his aloofness and mental quirks. I think ultimately it cost
him a HOF career. Andrade is like literally the same guy.
Glass brain guys are always a disappointment because they're physical specimens and
just mentally out to lunch.

 

Andrade is a waste of time. He thinks he is accomplished but really he is a **** salesman. He has backed out of so many great opportunities its ridiculous. He is not the man he thinks he is, he is scared of fighting anyone that can bomb on him.

 

That would have been a good fight and an excellent fight for an undercard. Winners could have faced each other if something bigger didn't come along.

Seems like HBO and Derevychenko both want to make the fight for early next year so hopefully this fight happens then.

 

I'd like to see Derevyanchenko vs. Charlo.

 

Kova's was a more legit KD, but I think that was more of a footwork issue when going backwards, not an indication of being chinny. That Andrade one was definitely not a sign of being chinny though one of the guys said he's been down previously. I'm sure his chin is fine though

I'd never known TJ as being chinny personally.
