if he simply fights a credible opponent, comes in shape and comes to fight. that is more than enough.
If Derry can use this to get his career back on track and move him towards a Commonwealth or British title shot then fair play.

Hopefully its a good opponent and a big fight for Derry, I don't really see a problem for him fighting for the IBO belt as its a great opportunity for him to get himself right in the mix again. It should be Derry v Choi III for the belt, but I can handle Choi has a first defence for Derry as well. :yep Best of luck to him.
since he fought lawton hes moved gyms learning new things and i reckon hes a better fighter for it and is looking very sharp that was then this is now im backing derry!!!

Good for you. I get pissed off by the alphabets as much as the next man - especially the plethora that exist below even the big four. But I, as with most everyone else on here, amn't trying to make a living from prize fighting so should probably learn to a be a little more empathetic to those who are and yet aren't amongst the privileged few at the glitz and glamour end.
