Just back. There are some brave hombres on here tonight...that was a perfect stoppage, look at Derry's face.
Also, the joker that claimed he knows a pub where you can get a pint and see a fight like the Ball fight...you are a liar.
And finally I did think that the Italian would quit ...he backed off, touching his eye and blinking.

    Adios.

It was alright. Only a shill for British officiating would call it perfect.

Oh, you're omniscient? At least as pertains to the entire UK pub scene?

It was a **** fight, don't waste your breath defending it.

You backed off, after walking right into a puddle of poo and then swinging your foot right up into your mouth.

    0 for 3, Steve.

Being on TV doesn't make you any less apt to be wrong than anyone else - it just means with an inflated self-opinion you're less apt to admit it. ;)

it was a **** fight in fairness

derry matthews - a guy who has been banged out plenty of times at sub domestic level vs a 35 year old nobody from italy

it was an exciting fight though - somewhat - and i enjoyed it. fair play to matthews, but he really looks fragile in fights when the going gets tough, or even just when the going gets slightly tough

all his 6 losses by ko now

This is a good competitive fight. Villanueva stalking. Ruiz jr. boxing on the backfoot and trying to circle and outbox. Villanueva trying for the home run a little too much.

Ruiz getting caught with everything. Hurt and staggered by a left hook. Villanueva throwing everything at him. And down goes Ruiz with seconds to go of the second round. He barely survives the round. This might not last long.

This Villanueva is fun to watch. Good workrate and power. He works the body well too. Ruiz becoming more and more static and easy to hit. Ruiz has to try and take Villanueva to deep water.

All the first 3 rounds to Villanueva. He's bullying this kid. He's never been past the 3rd though, so we'll see how he handles himself.
