No way, Loma punches far better than Haney.

Which type of punch will he have the most success with?

    Wheres Haney?

    Is his omission a mistake?

Surely he's got to top one of the categories?

    Most hugs for example

The British version? It was the same fight wherever you watched it at. It's a matter of opinion and the prevailing opinion in the UK is that Loma can do no wrong.

Haney's length, speed, and rhythm-breaking jab present all sorts of problems for Loma.

Any honest observer of Loma's career would have to concede as much.

Nevertheless, I expect a much sharper Loma if/when he fights Haney.

This fight will be decided in the championship rounds, and I would not be so quick to count the Ukrainian out.

The commentary was better. They commentated as if they had no horse in the race. Bradley was silent anytime Loma did well, and every time Ortiz was active (not successful but active), he was praising and oohing and ahhhing. It's become concerning, actually, with Bradley commentating at times because he plays favorites. When Loma and Haney fight, watch Bradley ignore Loma and hype very little move Haney does. I'm calling it now.

I prefer when the commentators are neutral, just calling the fight as it occurs. Jamal Herring and Christan Poncher are a good duo. They don't play favorites. And let's be honest, what does Bradley add to the commentary these days? The guy says the same thing again and again, all the time: "Now if he'd just go to the body." Or "I'd like to see more body punching." Or "if you go to the body, the head will follow." That's all Bradley says. He should be called Timothy "Go to the Body" Bradley. It's getting on my nerves.

Ward doesn't bother me. Actually, the only time he bothers me is when Shakur fights because he gets very one-sided in his commentating.

Maybe. The thing with Ortiz is that it wasn't his jab that broke Loma's rhythm. It was Ortiz throwing five-piece or six-piece combos at anytime. You'd never know when he'd do that. Plus, the other thing that he did (which I can see Haney doing) is holding or holding and hitting. I only saw him initiate a clinch several times. The other times he held. Plus you can't clinch and punch at the same time anyway. That's a foul. If you want to see how you're supposed to fight on the inside, watch Duran and Buchanan (or any Duran fight). That's textbook inside fighting. You control the arms with forearm control, and then use the shoulder to create space for punches. Or use your forehead.

Haney's length will create problems, for sure. And some of Haney's punch choice is very good, changing up the angle. I imagine the Haney fight will look a lot like the Ortiz fight in many ways but minus the punch output that Ortiz had. But expect the doubling and tripling up of the jab. Expect the holding and punching. Expect dipping below the belt line. Expect Haney trying to setup his right hand, which he might land here and there, but that's pretty much it.

Okay. Here's the thing. Ortiz has a special skillset, and it's part and parcel of his fighting style. Explosive combination punching and rough housing. He has done it all the fights I've seen him in. Every single one. However, I have never seen Haney fight that way. I've only seen Haney sit back, looking to counter. There's something similar to how he fights and how Kambosos fights, except Haney is much better at it. But there were times when they were mirror images of each other, especially during the first fight. You could count the seconds as they stared at each other, waiting for the other to act. If Haney fights that with with Loma, it's going to be a very long night for Devin. Loma is aging, but he's not quite there yet.

Haney looks two divisions bigger, it will have a big impact in the fight no matter how you cut it IMO.

    Lomachenko dominates Haney
Haney draining so much means he can't fight for 12 rounds without clinching
Loma will keep slipping out the clinch and throw combinations
Haney is a one shot at a time fighter even if he lands Loma will be throwing 3's and 4's after whilst Haney goes for a clinch
Haney will get outhustled and lose a UD maybe a late stoppage

What? Did you see the Linares fight? Haney can`t punch at all, he`s only stopped half his opponents, he might never score another KO for the rest of his career.
