I haven't really followed Haney's career, so I can't comment on whether he's improved as a fighter as he gained experience.

However , I do remember the comments from certain promotors, You Tube analysts etc...and my recollection is that he was sold to the boxing public as a genuine, bona fide, elite operator.

They claimed he was the best in the division and was destined for greatness.

By contrast, Garcia seemed to be portrayed as a part time fighter, someone who loved the attention on social media more than the blood, sweat, and tears of the gym.

To be clear, this is just my perception of the way the media approached them both.

I guess it proves that pundits and analysts don't have all the answers.

None seemed to give Garcia a chance, claiming he was distracted, unprofessional, and it would be easy work for Haney.

Ultimately, despite everything, there's still talk among pundits that Haney can avenge this loss and defeat Garcia in a rematch.

I wonder what everyone thinks about that?

You can't train a chin. With that fragile mandible he's packing, he'll always be vulnerable.

He could have Ray Arcel, Eddie Futch AND Emmanuel Steward in his corner and he'd still be hitting the canvas on a regular basis.
