I never discredited Cintron like most Boricuas did after his losses, but it's because I knew what a machine Margo was and they didn't until he destroyed Cotto. Imagine if Cotto would of fought Margo with the guts and balls that Cintron did. How long would of Cotto lasted then? I'm not trying to discredit Cotto, I'm just saying Cintron isn't a chump like many make him out to be. Cotto has the better skills out of the two Puerto Ricans, Cintron has the bigger punch. If Cotto were to fight Cintron the way he did against Margo he would stop Kermit in the late rounds. But it's to be seen, can Cotto still fight like that or will he be affected by the loss. Cotto will take a UD against Cintron, reason being is he'll probley be too cautions. But if he comes out determined, he could KO Cintron (or get caught himself). Remember in the second fight against Margo, Kermit showed the better boxing skills (than Margo) so it's a matter of who got more taken out of them against the Tornado. One thing for sure Puerto Rico will be the winner between this match up!
Should be a pretty good fight, the problem with cintron is that he can give a punch but he can't take one, thats why i think cotto will wear him down and finish him late. its all going to end in tears .... again
its just crazy how everyone has flipped their opinions regarding cotto after his loss to margo. just nuts.
I fancy Cintron for this. I dont think Cotto can withstand the firepower that Margo stood up to. Margo made Cintron look weak willed and fragile,doesnt mean the rest of the division can.

Cotto will win by a middle rounds stoppage, he's too much of a body puncher and pressure fighter for Kermit.
I got cotto by stoppage not sure what round but i think once cintron gets frustrated he is going to give in.
With the welterweights (who are my favorite weightclass by far at the moment), it could play out like "Rock, Paper, Scissors". Margarito would off course be the Rock I can see Cintron pull it out vs Cotto or vice versa, i can imagine Margo losing another one vs Williams. And i would favour Cotto over Williams. Interesting clash of styles. The welterweights rock !
This is an impossible fight to predict, who knows how either man is after coming off of TKO losses. Personally I would see it affecting Cotto worse. Cintron is the wrong guy to get in there with if you're Cotto, say what you want about him but he hits hard as hell and 2 KO losses in a row would be quite difficult to come back from.
