Gbp are trying to put together gary russell jnr v luis franco in an ibf eliminator where the winner becomes dibs mandatory. I think july 7 is the date.

Russell is a great talent and probably has the fastest hands in the sport. If he does force a dib fight....its pretty much a no contest. Dib hands over his belt after catching a hiding.

GBP already made an offer previously for Dib to face Russell Jnr which Dib's team declined stating "not enough money".

You can take that as fact.:deal

P.S: Really means, "I know I'll get beat, up the bread!"

Dib might have to finally defend his belt against a top 15 Featherweight.

William Dibb would be better off with an IBO belt so he wouldn't have to fight anyone in the top 35 ever.

Would be great to see Dib fight the winner in Oz, that would be huge, assuming this happens.

Dib wants to fight in the States and Russell Jr is a future star. Australia isn't getting this fight unfortunately.

I think people under estimate Dib. Billy is a huge Featherweight and has good speed and power. There is no one in the division who would steam roll him. He has a 50/50 chance against all the champs and contenders at the weight.

    Wrong, wrong and wrong.

  13. No doubt gary russell deserves a shot and is a superior fighter. billy might follow mundane and prefer give the belt away

If dib fights and beats chris john...he will have the boxing world at his feet imo..thats the direction he needs to be chasing
