Even with Ariza on his side, Floyd could not KO a fly. At least with Khan, Maidana tasted the canvass. While with Floyd, Maidana was tickled.

I think so, too - and in retrospect, that could be a character defining moment for him, both inside and outside the ring.

Definitely on the fence, but you all can relax. If he would have KO'd Algieri, than he would have KO'd a C level fighter who may even have a weak chin for all we know

Cause Provodnikov and Pac are similar in style and skill level, right?

I'm really starting to believe the fight was fixed to reach the end. And i'm normally against early stoppages. But that count was really awkward, and Chris showed to have zero chances of doing anything.

I probably would have waved it off if I were the ref, but the answer to the question is yes he did beat the count. If he hadn't beaten the count then the fight would be a KO.

Pretty strange for a man who went out of his way to blast this S&C coach along with Manny about doping only to retain his services? Even going as far as creating special tests as a way to sell this to the public.

Nope..clearly at the count of 9 he turned his back on the ref.. This fight should not have happened in the first place. I feel sorry for Algiere. Arum should be blamed for that humiliation of a fight.

    I think it should've been a TKO.
