Did anyone really think reid would beat Lacy?

    The thread title should be changed to did you think Lacy would knock Reid the **** out. Just my two cents.

    whether he wasn't there mentally for the lacy fight, that might be the case. my point was it is unlikely he was "shot" as a fighter - reflexes gone, no stamina, etc. He was most likely not in his best shape (possibly mentally as well) but he shouldn't have been and probably wasn't "shot." I don't know how I'm 'painting' him but he was very good fighter.

    This he was which is not in doubt.But not by the time he ws facing Lacy.

    robin reid was past his best by the time he fought lacy. he was a very good fighter with a big punch and a rock chin
