How did Seldon get a title? Did he look good in the fight? Dive for me is went in the ring planning to lay down, I dont think he did that. But it wasnt a clean punch that did it, I think he just packed it in he did the same thing in another 1 round loss, he went down without really taking a solid punch I thought it was comical how such a big strong guy would go down on such a grazing punch
I just think he was scared shitless got hit and took the oppurtunity to get out of the fight. He obviously made himself appear shaky lol
Just watched it now - looks very fake and terrible acting with the head shake after the second knock down
I dont think he took a dive in the sense that it was pre planned or anything, I think once he saw the speed and the intensity that Mike brought he decided it wasnt worth even trying
No dive, you guys are nuts. Seldon had ben bringing it to Tyson hard the entire round. Tyson's defense was too much for him, but he was clearly trying to win the fight. Before the KO, he was first badly rocked when against the ropes (by a left). then the KD, in which he fell forward (nobody takes a dive face-first into the canvas.) After that, he was out on his feet, he then took an absolutely perfect Tyson left to his chin & went down for the last time. If you think that punch missed, watch it again. - And Tyson looked to be in peak condition in that fight, both physically & mentally, he looked 10 years younger. That punch would have floored Jake LaMotta. - And Seldon STILL got up and tried to continue. WTF are you guys talking about?
As sure a dive as any in boxing history 1) he dives to the floor looking for a way out. look at his shifty manner the exaggerated wobble and richard steele who i feel was in on it. 2) Seldon was from atlantic city and the mob got to him. 3) seldon retired immediately and didnt need to come back for 7-8 years till the money ran out.
