no, i don't think so..cotto is a proven elite A level fighter. But as every fighter has his weakness, cotto's weakness is a major one which is his chin, if cotto had a decent chin like margo we would see a different fight at all.

no. that fight was competitive throughout, cotto was just in against someone who could fully exploit his weakness.

Good post. Cotto has to be given credit for taking the fight.

Not exposed as in the standard form, but I think it showed that he's not tactically as good a ring general as we thought, especially against pressure. Not tie ups/clinches?:huh

yes the clinches was the major factor, he only clinched twice during the fight and it was effective if you would see it

Do what? Argue with a fan on subjective matters of opinion? What the **** for? I'll be happy to slap you around if that's what you want. Please, waste my time.

This wasn't even A HARD call. Cotto was obviously the better skilled fighter out there and did exactly what was expected of him(although he did a bit too much running for my taste).

It just boils down to Margarito being underrated by a lot of people here.

If This beating didn't take a pemanent mental toll on Cotto you can bet he'll be back looking as devastating as he was before this fight!

Technically speaking, Margarito may fit your description but his intangibles such as his chin and relentless punch output make him an A fighter.

No he was beaten in a great fight by an unrelenting opponent. Some of you morons need to get it into your head that when someone loses it doesn't automatically make them a "fraud", "exposed" or a "hype job". Anyone who cant see Cotto is a technically gifted boxer obviously doesn't watch a lot of boxing.
