Yup but last night was Cotto's first fight. Do any of you guys actually like boxing? You all seem so angry all the time it really doesn't seem as if you get a lot of enjoyment out of watching it.

lets just put it this way if you don't think Cotto's got a lot of skills then you need to get your eye's checked. Cause he fought as good a fight as you could have asked him too and just couldn't take the beating. Thats it. Out gunned..not exposed.

It is unfair to say Cotto was exposed as some kind of overhyped fraud.

    Not true.

For large parts of the fight Cotto was outboxing and out manvoering Margrito.

He was hitting Margrito with everything.

    But here is the thing.

Cotto lost because he was fighting the laws of nature that were against him.

Margrito was bigger, stronger, could take everything Cotto hit him with without flinching and keep coming and punched harder - when Cotto got hit he got hurt.

Margrito was just a more all round stronger force - simple as that.

And when you are forced to box and move off the back foot as Cotto was because he was being pressured by the stronger man - it would have taken alot more energy out of Cotto going back and alot less energy for Margrito who was just jogging straight forward.

So in the end Margrito's strength just took over in the championship rounds and Cotto submitted to the stronger force.

Cotto is still a very good fighter but he could not defy the laws of nature - and he took a painful loss - and he may never be the same fighter again now psycologically and physically.

It's anger. A lot of the people on here are clearly very angry about their lives & come on here to vent that anger under the guise of boxing. We really should pity these people & direct them towards some form of counselling.

this seems to be the new trend here regarding undefeated fighters. Lose the 0 and they got branded expose. Its the same **** comin from fans who don't know **** about boxing..

If Margo can fight at middleweight, I wonder how he could stand up to the likes of a Kelly Pavlik.

No, Mosely just dosen't hit as hard and go to the body near as often. Cotto can work against the fast mother ****ers-he just has difficulty against a ****in' wearwolf like Margarito.

Oh, Cotto has skill. I'm just going to be realistic about the reality of the situation. Whatever ability Cotto has it's never going to be enough to withstand sustained pressure from the right opponent. It never was. Zab Judah or Andre Dirrell have all the skills and/or talent in the world, that means nothing overall.

How can you say he was exposed??? Cotto has wins over some of the greatest fighters of the last 10 years. He made it a hell of a fight for the fans, he showed tremendous heart. I don't know who would have been able to handle 12 rounds of a Margarito assault that was dished out to cotto tonight

    Not very well.

What Margarito depends on at Welter is his natural size and strength. Up at Middleweight he would not be able to walk on in against Pavlik or many of the better Middleweights.

Pavlik would have a field day with Margarito.

They only do it because it makes them feel better about their own pathetic lives.
