Not good fighters, just big and solid as hell. I've NEVER seen an adult samoan male under 200 pounds..EVER...and rarely a female.

    READ: http://www.menshealth.com/fitness/signs-steroid-use
    I quote from the article:

Even then, the ones who are using the industrial-strength drugs may not be obvious. “Of all the people I’ve seen who admit using steroids, I’d say 90 percent don’t even look like bodybuilders,” says Michael Scally, M.D., a physician who has treated more than a thousand current and former steroid users, and consulted with doctors around the world on many more. “They aren’t 6 to 8 percent body fat. They aren’t huge. They look like 20-, 30-, 40-year-old men. They’re just using steroids to try to get in shape faster.”

Harrison Pope, M.D., a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, developed the fat-free-mass index, or FFMI. It’s a calculation of your height, weight, and body-fat percentage that gives you an idea of how close you are to your physiological ceiling.

DAVID TUA WEIGHT WAY TOO MUCH FOR HIS SHORT SIZE IS AN INDICATOR OF STEROIDS.
And still didnt look overweight just chubby.

Pope’s research also shows the clearest difference between users and non-users. Steroids preferentially increase the size of the muscles that attach to the shoulder joints: the lats, trapezius, pectorals, deltoids, and upper arms. (WHICH IS WERE TUA GOT HIS POWER FROM) (Interestingly, that’s also where steroid-induced acne is most likely to appear.) A guy who’s “yoked,” with traps big enough to support their own ecosystems, almost certainly had pharmaceutical assistance.

Dramatically increasing the amount of testosterone in your body means more of it gets converted into other types of steroid hormones It might also convert to dihydrotestosterone, a chemical associated with baldness and non-cancerous growth of the prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH).

DAVID TUA LOST ALL HIS HAIR ALL OF SUDDEN....^ AND GOT BALD

There is, however, one sneaky-effective way to tell if a guy is juicing, or has in the past: Talk to him about steroids. “The average anabolic steroid user is more knowledgeable about androgens than most doctors,”

So why has David Tua never talked about Steroids? He doesen't want people to know or have their attention on that.

Nothing you posted here proves a single thing.

Polynesians in general have a much higher BMI than other races. Check out the link below, an average Samoan male weights 94.7kg that's almost 209lbs. That the frickin average not even a big Samoan or a Samoan that trains like Tua. The average European in comparison weights 80.4kg or 177lbs. Tua at his heaviest is about 40lbs above the national average of Samoa so according you your stupid logic any european above 207lbs is on steroids.

As for FFMI it's impossible to say if Tua is above what is possibly natural as we don't know what his body fat percentage is. He's probably been over 20% most of his career and you can't really tell just by looking, as you can't tell how much visceral fat he is carrying around his organs, all you can guess is his subcutaneous fat. Also if you look at that article Polynesians have a higher bone density that Europeans which would once again put into doubt FFMI's accuracy. FFMI is just a tool like a TDEE calculator. It's an estimate nothing more and can be very inaccurate as you cannot deal with specific differences for each individual.

It's VERY, VERY possible considering the testing they had back in the late 90's and early 2000's. not saying he did... but wouldn't be surprised

Tua ballooned up to 300 pounds several times during his multiple layoffs. He just wasn't that good of a fighter. The bad discipline did him no favors.

Why do you care so badly about Tua using something if you admitted earlier that you already believe most top fighters do also?

Guessing you don't have Samoans in your part of the world? Tua's build was VERY Samoan, basically an endomorph who ate a nasty diet out of training camps and ballooned up but at any point probably still holding a high muscle mass

Samoans are big strong people. Once you know a few you learn many of them have this build.

We see it every day in NZ. No steroids needed.

Every boxer during Tua's era was taking steroids,no VADA or WADA caliber testing during that time period, why does it really matter if they all took it?

Why the Hell would a top HW in an era of extremely liberal testing protocols NOT use PED's. I seriously have some awesome beach front property in mali I would love to see you and cheap.
