Mormeck didnt. He got the shot the same as Haye did. He didn't get a shot at Vitaly. Charr, Solis, and Chisora deserved their shot infinitely more than Haye deserves one now. They were all active leading up to their fights with Vitaly. Haye is on par with someone walking off the street now. He is inactive. Like I said, he is probably the second best heavyweight in the world atm, but that's just a guess. He doesn't fight, therefore, he doesnt deserve a title shot. He got his Mormeck shot already, based on past accomplishments. I have a University Degree. Does that mean I can just sit at home and when I decide I want a high paying job, I can just walk into a workplace and demand to be hired and get top wage? I very well could be more qualified and a better fit for the position then anyone else at that business, but I would never get hired like that. Should someone automatically get a raise and a promotion the second they start working based on their potential? **** no. They must prove themselves. However, if they are exceptionally qualified, it wont take long, but they still have to earn it. Comparatively, Haye needs to at least beat ONE contender to get a shot. Not someone on a hellacious losing streak like Chisora. Fight and beat one of the following, and he will deserve a shot: Adamek, Pulev, Fury, Price, Ustinov, Wilder, Mago, and ya know what, because I like haye, I'll even say if he beats Mitchell, he would have earned a shot. Chisora's "hellacious losing streak" consisted of being robbed against Helenius and a competitive showing against Vitali, so I think its a bit unfair to paint him as unworthy competition to prove your worth against if you want a shot at Vitali. Wilder? How would beating a guy ranked under the top 50 - last time I checked - prove Haye's legitimacy? If you'd said Arreola, Banks or Stiverne, who the WBC rank 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, then that would be understandable, but Wilder? Seriously?

Views for their last full fight on youtube Haye- 1 million Vitali -224,00 Wlad - 30,00 Wlad might have the titles but Haye is still the more popular and exciting fighter. The Chisora fight was the biggest since Wlad and he managed to do that coming off an embarrassing loss. Even RTL want the fight to happen.
