Roach heard the same stuff, that Martinez wasn't able to prepare correctly and was physically far from his best, which stands to reason when you consider the multiple surgeries he'd had since Chavez, the nature of his injury, the fact that he'd spent months on crutches, etc. If his condition was a secret, it was poorly kept.
