Did Katsidis team get their way over referee

As the title says, did they manage to get Dave Parris off the fight, if so will we be seeing a top American ref over here.

As I have said before, Ritchie Davies should have this fight...He is by far our best referee...:good

 

Well I can totally understand why Katsidis doesn't want Parris. Hell, I can understand why Mitchell wouldn't want Parris, he's terrible. And even worse as a judge.

 

I think the whole point of taking Parris off the job was to have a neutral referee though

 

Parris did Mitchell/Prescott, cant remember any dodgy reffing in that one

 

Hopefully this issue is not important on the night.

 

My point was not about the neutral aspect of the referee it was based on if we are going to have an English referee have our best...:good

Rewatch the fight. Parris was being a **** in that fight. Even Frank Warren commentators were like wtf is he doing. Go watch it again

That's generally the idea with refs...

 

can't see what the problem is, he's just reffing not scoring,as long as he doesen't break the rythem of the fight by interfeering if katsidas looks like making a breakthrough,it will be ok. as only that kind of biased **** could stop this from being a hell of a good fight.:yep

 

Is that the same Ritchie Davies who in every fight he referees stops the fight after thirty seconds, brings the fighters together and tells them to behave? I don't think he's a bad ref to be fair, but he is a massive 'look at me' merchant.

I still think he is our best and most consistent...:yep

He is very fair, especially on undercards when sometimes it is easier to lift the hand of the home fighter... He will call the draw or the other opponent... He is my fave...:good
