and still managed to outland drainelo on some of those rounds.

unless you counted drainelo;s shoe shining body shots that landed mostly on hip, back, arms, below the belt.

drainelo getting his head snapped back repeatedly and swinging on air, it was comical.

12 rounds of not being able to land a flush shot to the face, must really be frustrating.

the uppercut, it just went through the guards. very much like the body shots, few landed but they looked good. they made drainelo looked acitive like he was doing something right.

but if you looked really closely, they werent landing at all and the punch scorers ringside agreed.

    cuban schooling indeed.:deal

DLH was crucified(and rightfully so) for running in the championship rounds and some of you clowns are trying to argue that Lara who ran for about 9 rounds deserved the decision.

First half he was moving well and landing clean, second half he was just moving backwards non stop unwilling to throw anything.

Lara boxed.. What's funny is you could tell Canelo was getting frustrated because Lara wouldn't just stay still so he could punch him in the head. If this red headed clown is being sold as the next big PPV star, this sport is really in trouble. I hope Andrade gets a shot at Canelo..

Increasingly so as the fight went on.

Lara used footwork and defensive movement at times, but he was running at other times. There's running, and there's boxing. Lara used both.

Flat footed Cave men call it running while we civilized folk call it the sweet science.

Even Floyd Sr stated that Lara ran the entire fight. That in itself speaks volumes as Floyd Sr prefers slick defensive boxers!

So what is "the sweet science"? Fighting without actually fighting? How is it considered better when those practicing the "sweet science" take on a style of minimizing fighting and engaging? That's not boxing, that's fencing.

    Hit while not being hit.

Not Lara's fault that Canelo has cinderblock feet and don't know how to cut off the ring.
Lara landed dozens of combinations on Canelo but I can't recall even one combination of punches from Canelo. That's the sweet science.

    No worries.
Over time Canelo will degrade into the UFC fan friendly "Rock'em-Sock'em robot" fighter you casuals like to see.

For the first 5 rounds, Lara wasn't running that much. However starting in round 6, after the first minute, he started running. He ran away the last 2 minutes of round 6, then for the rest of the fight went back and forth between running and 'boxing'.
