I wonder if after calling it a day he'll publish his memoirs and finally tell us what he smeared himself in to generate that unholy stink that watered up Sasha Povetkin's eyes in their fight.
Yeah, was to have been him versus Kabayel, agreed upon in late 2021 but "put on hold" in January of last year. Indefinite hold, apparently. The reason given was the difficulty setting up events in Germany due to Covid restrictions, but Kabayel has fought twice since then.
Last fought just over a year ago, nothing since. 40 years old now. Guess he hung up the gloves for good. Good luck to him in retirement.
There was a training clip on his instagram from February where he showed his body. Maybe he can secure the Kabayel fight. It would probably be a big fight in Germany.
I’d watch. Don’t expect Huck would have much to offer Kabayel at this point, but it might be one last good payday for him.
