Yes. As soon as he became a threat to him, that's when he started with all this bull****.

What a ****** you are. You keep repeating this as if it means anything. VADA or ANYONE saying they would conduct the test doesn't mean **** if NEITHER party asks for it. Did Bradley insist on the testing? If he didn't, and it wasn't in the contract, then they didn't refuse because it wasn't a part of the testing regiment moron. :patsch

And perception is reality. Most will view Mayweather as the guy who didn't want the fight to happen whether fair or not. I am convinced he didn't want nothing to do with Pac after Pac started starching DLH, Hatton, Cotto, etc. Maybe Floyd changed his tune after watching the Mosley and JMM fights but at that point, the perception had already been planted in the public's eye.

A lot of fans also believe PAC was on something which is why he ducked full tests. The situation has not turned out well for either

LOL. Yeah, like crackhead uncle Roger? The guy who started the rumor just because he couldn't believe Pac could be that good? They have absolutely no proof, just pure speculation out of disbelief.

Start a poll right now asking whether you think Pac was on something and i bet at least 75% say he was clean.

Yeah because a poll in ESB is public perception  just do a google search on pacquiao and the first things to come up is PAC is on steroids.

A poll on ESB is the ultimate example of public perception. I don't know what's funny about that.

So public perception only applies Mayweather but not Pacquiao?

    Another balanced opinion.

I don't care what anyone on this damn site says. The response that I got from people outside in the real world whether they were black, white, spanish, asian, whatever, is that Floyd was quackin.

Public perception is what it is. You telling me 50 years from now if this fight never happens that half will think Pac didn't want it and half will think Floyd didn't want it? I seriously doubt it. I would say at least 70% will perceive that Floyd didn't want it, whether fair or not.

True, and I think both must shoulder some blame for the fight not happening. If they wanted it bad enough they could have made it happen

That's the jist of it. And a reason for this has to do alot with that Floyd says about it. He claims he can "whoop that yellow midget" even if he was on PED's, yet didn't feel confident enough to actually go through with it. There was a lot of talk that Floyd was simply waiting for Pac to slow down, just as there was that he conveniently 'retried' when he would have no choice but to face top WW's when the division was hot. For a guy who cried abou tnot being appreciated, NOT getting his dues or the paydays he deserves, what does he do after fighting DLH and gaining that status...sit out for a year. Not the actions of a man with convictions. More the actions of a man waiting for the right time to pounce. Well good for Floyd. Pac has slowed down now, and the fight that most wanted when hot has come to a fizzle.

I'll nominate this as the best comment on the whole thread, and one of only a couple remotely decent ones.

The above shows how I back up my opinion; that Mayweather did not duck a prime Pac because the end of Pac's prime coincided with the first negotiation period, where some people think Mayweather ducked Pac and some say Pac ducked Mayweather.
